Packaging Associate

Aerotek is hiring a Packaging Associate to join our production team. In this role, you’ll ensure our food products meet the highest standards for appearance, weight, and packaging. You’ll also operate wrapping and bagging machines while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect de-molded products to verify appearance, weight, and packaging

• Operate or assist with wrapping machines, bagging, and grinding equipment

• Follow all quality assurance, safety, and sanitation protocols

• Return leftover materials to the warehouse

• Shrink-wrap or cover unwrapped chocolate products

• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues

• Clean and sanitize work areas at the start, during, and end of the shift

• Clearly label and verify all packaged products

• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality

• Communicate effectively with the team and follow company procedures

• Support other departments when needed

Essential Skills

• Experience in food production or chocolate manufacturing

• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Strong packaging, labeling, and general labor skills

• Excellent communication skills
