🎯 Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with operations and project teams

• Oversee integration of H&S into business objectives

• Ensure regulatory compliance (especially Cal/OSHA)

• Review H&S plans and conduct site audits and inspections

• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions

• Create and deliver H&S training programs

• Guide subcontractor safety prequalification reviews

• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills

• Present H&S updates in meetings, town halls, and briefings

• Analyze safety metrics to improve HSE performance

• Promote BeyondZero safety culture and observations

✅ Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 8 years in full-time H&S roles, with civil construction experience

• Expertise in CA/OSHA and local/federal compliance standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint

• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to travel across California and the West Region

Preferred:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification

• Residence in the state of California
